Kratom is a very diverse product, with different strains producing markedly different effects. On top of this, there is a large number of vendors around the world who are all trying to market their kratom products in slightly different ways, giving the impression that there is a bewildering array of kratom products on offer.

In reality, things are not as complicated as all that. There are a few markedly different strains from different areas, but their effects are not difficult to understand if the information required is clearly presented. Please note that there will be some variation in effect between individuals, but in general the various strains of kratom, as long as they are of good quality, should produce consistent results.

Understanding the effects that kratom can have will help the end user not only choose the right strain to suit him or her, but also provide the information needed to come up with their own blends, and create a truly personalised experience.

In order to provide this simplicity, the more complicated kratom products, such as extracts and tinctures, are not covered at this time. Of course, extracts are likely to be nothing more than stronger versions of the basic dried leaf products, but the number of disreputable suppliers in the extract market makes this an area best left until you've got a feel for kratom and the kratom market. It's worth noting that  many (perhaps most) reputable kratom vendors do not stock extracts. If a dried leaf product is fresh and good quality, it's more than likely that you'll need nothing more.
